Chanca Piedra is an Amazon rainforest plant that helps to maintain optimal liver, gall bladder, and kidney health. It is the popular name given to several small fern-like plants in the Phyllanthus genus (botanical family Euphorbiacceae), including Phyllanthus niruri.
Expiration/shelf life - Five years from date of manufacture. Look at the expiration date on your bottle to determine exact shelf life of the product you purchased.

Immediate/Urgent Use: Take one cup of tea 3-4 times daily for liver-gall bladder support and 6-8 times daily for kidney-bladder support on an empty stomach for up to one month or as directed by your health care practitioner.
Maintenance: Take one cup of tea once or twice daily on an empty stomach 5 or 6 days a week.
To Prepare the Tea: Add 4 level teaspoons to 5 cups of boiling water. Reduce heat and let simmer 15-20 minutes. When cool, strain the tea and discard the solids. This makes 4 cups of pleasant tasting and healthful tea. Serve hot or cold. Store the prepared tea in the refrigerator in a glass container with a lid for up to one week.
