Radioactive-free, small rose quartz crystal gua sha stone for āpain-free and bruise-free gua sha techniqueā used with Illumodineā¢, BioScalar Energized Castor Oilā¢ and Divinely Organic Coconut Oilā¢ on scar tissue and areas of pain that do not include open wounds or bruises. Never use Scalar Small Gua Shaā¢ on carotid arteries, shingles-related/ cancerous areas, those with history of deep vein thrombosis, or during pregnancy. Use only in vertical, horizontal and diagonal strokes so as not to coil or bind up connective tissue. Success is seen with 3-5 minutes of strokes in each target area over time (once to three times per week is suggested based on gua sha-induced microtrauma). This product purposely induces mild microtrauma to the skin; however, pain, and even bruising, is uniquely prevented by use of Illumodineā¢ beforehand. As Illumodineā¢ is used up (due to microtrauma) via healthy apoptosis (immediate new healthy cell production), more Illumodineā¢ can be applied to instantly silence additional pain. If the skin becomes irritated with too much Illumodineā¢, BioScalar Energized Castor Oilā¢ and Extreme O2ā¢ can be useful to instantly soothe the skin. If Scalar Small Gua Shaā¢ is used for the scalp where voluminous acupuncture points that are concentrated in a small area get stimulated, the goal is to eventually create a scalp that āwigglesā as opposed to one that is āstuck to the skullā. Some hair stylists are familiar with noticing this phenomenon when shampooing scalps. It may be useful to place this gua sha tool in a plastic bag beforehand so as not to pull out the hair; otherwise, be careful with the hair.
